The Burrito Brigade
Burrito Brigade operates on O’ga P’ogeh, meaning White Shell Water Place, the ancestral and unceded homelands of the Northern and Southern Tewa peoples. This land remains home to Indigenous communities including Nambe, Tesuque, Pojoaque, San Ildefonso, and Ohkay Owingeh Pueblos.
Land acknowledgment must be more than words. A portion of all Burrito Brigade funds is donated to the O’ga P’ogeh Land Tax, a voluntary reparations initiative supporting Indigenous communities.
We encourage our community to learn, contribute, and act in solidarity with Indigenous sovereignty.
